The Danish rock band Deerborn continues the distinguished series of singles that have so far characterized 2020. And thus builds on the four-year-old debut album 'Crash and Burn'.

Where the cold-struck desperado-blast 'Where Demons Hide' and the dark americana anthem 'Can't Find My Way' showed two extremes of the group's mature expression, 'Figured Out' seems to place itself right between these songs.

Deerborn continues to refine its evocative grip with the classic rock song with nuanced textures and a great instrumental propulsion. The rustic warmth also permeates 'Figured Out', where the experienced lads once again show that they manage to put together a durable and strong melody with sing-along potential.

Ask Fogh's rocking bass and Dennis Winterskov's dragging drums create a solid foundation leaving just enough room for the remaining roles to play an optimal role. Daniel Buchwald's guitar in close interaction with Eik Skibdal's organ, which gives way to Lasse Nørby's solid rock vocal.

The lead singer says: 
‘'Figured Out 'is about something that most people can relate to. No matter how fast you run and how much you try to reach - time will always run faster and before you look around days will turn into weeks, and weeks into years. It's about getting the most out of your days and making sure you reach out to those who really matter."
